About The Artist

I am a painter and a ceramics artist, currently working and living in Antalya, Turkey. I got my bachelor’s degree from the Dokuz Eylul University (DEU), Faculty of Fine Arts, Ceramics and Glass Department in 2003; and my master’s degree in 2005 from the DEU, Institute of Fine Arts, Ceramics Department. While studying for my PhD, I left my academic carrier and focused on my paintings which has always been my passion and became a full-time painter.

My style of art is described as modern abstracts and most of my work has been influenced by abstract expressionism, impressionism, and surrealism. The subject matters of my art vary from landscapes to imaginative geometrical and organic compositions, natural and unnatural environments, architecture to industrialization and technology. Although acrylics and ink (indian, sumi, acrylic) are the main medium I use, I keep experimenting and exploring different materials and mediums. The size of my paintings vary from extra large to very small. Lately I have started to work on art trading cards which are referred to ACEOs.

My original artworks are currently being collected worldwide. Many of them can be found in national and international private and corporate collections. The growing demand for my art is steadily increasing its value.
